Active Enquiry #7: Ritual - Elevating the Ordinary to Make Life More Meaningful -
with Francis Briers
24th June 2020
6pm - 7.30pm BST
Registration closes at 5pm BST 24th June.
How we bring a sense of meaning and significance to our lives is always important, but perhaps now, when every day has a tendency to run into the next, it is even more relevant.
Ritual and ceremony are the ancient structures human beings have used for thousands of years to mark important moments, raise awareness, transition from one life stage to another and draw the sacred closer to the day-to-day.
This will be an exploration in how everybody can bring ancient wisdom to modern life and weave ritual and ceremony back into every day.
This fortnight, we welcome Francis Briers who has been exploring the underlying patterns of ritual and ceremony for the past 20 years: from his dissertation on creating Healing Theatre, through being ordained as an Interfaith Minister, right through to using this traditional wisdom in the design of learning programmes for leadership and change in large organisations.
We invite you to come and bring with you a special object, one that is significant to you, a talisman if you will, for the journey we'll be on together.
Francis is an author, facilitator and spiritual councellor.
You can read more about his work, here.
Zoom code sent one hour before the session begins.
If you miss the live event, the recording will always be placed in the Active Enquiry Facebook group to watch again.
