This Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Lesson is on the theme of breathing.
How are we doing our breathing, people?
Whether you are emerging from months of being shut away, still isolating or braving the front line, breathing matters.
In this time of pandemic, the breath is a powerful theme, not only because this disease targets our breathing capacity, but also because when we feel anxious, one of the first places that we contract is our breathing. So it is complex.
What can we learn about better supporting our natural capacity to breathe?
This one is very good for anyone who might have had the dreaded corona-drama-rama. But it's also good for anyone wanting to support themselves to be a more preventative, more well-resourced environment, where disease is less likely to take hold.
All welcome, no experience of any kind is necessary.
For this one we are mostly laying on our backs.
This is a good one to keep to hand and revisit.
